Streamlining student admissions with automated CRM & SIS connectivity
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly), is committed to improving the student experience. Cal Poly recognized an opportunity to better showcase its reputation for technological advancement through a modernized application system. To provide a real-time, multi-modal application experience for applicants, Cal Poly deployed the Slate customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
The next step focused on integrating the CRM and PeopleSoft SIS to create an end-to-end seamless experience for applicants, enhancing data flow and streamlining workflow management throughout the admissions process.
Unisys designed and built application programming interfaces (APIs) between the CRM and SIS systems, enabling real-time updates to the admissions checklist, financial aid information and transcript processing.
